Martin Freeman is an English actor best known before Sherlock for playing Tim Canterbury in the original UK version of The Office, and since for Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy and Lester Nygaard in the FX anthology series Fargo, for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award.
