Fern Sutherland is a New Zealand actress who trained at Auckland’s Unitec Institute of Technology, best known before Brokenwood for playing Dawn in the supernatural comedy-drama The Almighty Johnsons, a role that earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2011 Aotearoa Film and Television Awards.
